শিক্ষা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান এবং মন্ত্রণালয়ের কর্মকর্তাদের নিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার কাছে এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষার ফলাফলের অনুলিপি হস্তান্তর করবেন শিক্ষামন্ত্রী।
প্রধানমন্ত্রীর ঘোষণার পর শিক্ষার্থীরা শিক্ষা বোর্ডের ওয়েবসাইট এবং এসএমএসের মাধ্যমে জানতে পারবেন ফলাফল।
করোনাভাইরাস মহামারীর কারণে ১৪ নভেম্বর থেকে শুরু হয় সারাদেশের এস এস সি ও সমান পরীক্ষা। এর মাধ্যমে দেড় বছর পর প্রথম কোন পাবলিক পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেয় শিক্ষার্থীরা। এ পরীক্ষা সকাল দশটা থেকে শুরু হয়ে সাড়ে ১১ টায় শেষ হয়।
এবারের পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেন মোট শিক্ষার্থী ২২ লাখ ২৭ হাজার ১১৩ জন।
এ সংখ্যা গত বছর ছিল ২০ লাখ ৪৭ হাজার ৭৭৯ জন। এই হিসাবে এবারে পরীক্ষার্থী সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়ায় ১ লাখ ৭৯ হাজার ৩৩৪ জন।

এছাড়াও পরীক্ষা কেন্দ্রগুলোতে ছিল বাড়তি সর্তকতা। করোনাকালীন বিধি-নিষেধ মেনে নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণ দূরত্ব রেখে শিক্ষার্থীদের পরীক্ষার সুযোগ করানো হয়।
এছাড়াও বাংলাদেশ ছাড়া অন্য আটটি দেশের ৪২৯ জন শিক্ষার্থী এ পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিয়েছিলেন। দেশের বাইরে নয়টি কেন্দ্র ছিল এই কেন্দ্রগুলো হলো রিয়াদ, জেদ্দা, দোহা, ত্রিপোলি, দুবাই, আবুধাবি, ওমান, বাহারাইন ও গ্রিসের এথেন্স।
